Customers in the Technology sector require fast,  exible and e cient supply chains.
Demand for integrated product and service logistics is increasing. Our port folio ranges
from
inbound-to-manufacturing
services and warehouse and transport services to inte-
grated packaging, returns management and technical services.  is is one of the sec-
tors in which customers are increasingly requesting integrated solutions that are being
developed across all  divisions.
We are also increasingly providing cross-divisional, integrated solutions in the Life
Sciences & Healthcare industry, where supply chains and logistics processes are still
evolving in many parts of the world. Cost pressure is rising steadily and quality control
at the highest possible level is a must for all our customers.
e Automotive industry is one of our truly global sectors. In recent years, it has
seen a slowdown in growth in the industrial countries, with production shi ing to
emerging markets such as China, India and Brazil. For our
inbound-to- manufacturing
,
aftermarket logistics and lead logistics provider solutions, the key factor is our ability to o er
lower costs and a high degree of  exibility and reliability.
e fast-growing Energy sector is another sector where the  divisions provide
integrated logistics solutions for both the build and run phases of major energy projects.

management, ranging from o ce document and marketing solutions to customer
correspondence management. We o er these solutions to customers in the  nancial,
retail, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, publishing and public sectors as well as the
legal sector. As at  July , parts of Williams Lea Germany were transferred to the
 division.
Global market leader in contract logistics
 is the global market leader in contract logistics with a market share of
. . In this highly fragmented market, the top  players account for only
about   of the overall market, the size of which is estimated to be   billion. Whilst
we are the leading provider in our two largest markets, North America and Europe, we
face strong competition from local suppliers in all regions, especially in the fast-growing
Asia Paci c market. We are con dent that we shall succeed in leveraging our global
expertise and good relationships with multinational corporations in order to expand
our business in these markets.
Our Williams Lea business unit leads the market in outsourcing information man-
agement.  is market is also highly fragmented and consists largely of specialists o er-
ing either a very limited set of services or occupying exclusive niches. Due to our broad
range of international services and long-lasting customer relationships, we have been
able to build on our leading market position. In addition, we are leveraging s excel-
lent customer relationships to win new business for Williams Lea.
