UPS has included as Exhibits 31.1 and 31.2 to its Annual
Report on Form 10-K filed with the Securities and
Exchange Commission certificates of the Chief Executive
Officer and the Chief Financial Officer certifying the compli-
ance of UPS’s public disclosure with applicable standards.
In addition, the Chief Executive Officer certified to the
New York Stock Exchange on May 22, 2009 that he was
not aware of any violations by UPS of the New York Stock
