Since its establishment in 1920, Mazda has continued to be an automobile manufacturer that embodies the spirit of “never stop challenging.
In 2007, Mazda formulated “Sustainable Zoom-Zoom,” a long-term vision for technological development
that declares the Company’s initiatives toward the achievement of a sustainable future.
Based on this long-term vision, our revolutionary SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY combines the harmonious integration of
new dimensions in driving pleasure and outstanding environmental and safety performance.
The new generation of Mazda products featuring KODO design, which breathes life into cars,
and SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY have proven very popular since their launches both in Japan and overseas.
In addition, we are making efforts in Monotsukuri Innovation in order to realize high levels of diversity,
which enhances the competitive edge of our products, and commonality, which boosts the efficiency of mass production.
In doing so, we are achieving both enhanced performance and improved costs.
With our Structural Reform Stage 2 medium-term business plan, which starts from the March 2017 fiscal year,
we will make efforts to achieve qualitative business growth and further improve brand value in order to realize sustainable growth.
Going forward, we will improve brand value through the provision of “attractive products and services unique to Mazda,
while making efforts toward the realization of a sustainable future for both people and cars.
