We also continued to make improve-
ments within each of our business
platforms during the year. In mobility,
we expanded our product line to include
industry-leading wireless devices like
HTC EVO 4G from Sprint and Apple’s
iPhone 4 from AT&T. We also broadened
our wireless accessory assortment and
began developing new warranty and
service options. In our “signature”
business, we expanded our product
line and developed targeted marketing
campaigns. In our more mature con-
sumer electronics business, we worked
to maximize profitability by tailoring
our assortment to changing consumer
trends, as well as by executing prudent
inventory management, marketing and
space allocation strategies.
FORGING AHEAD
Over the past five years, our manage-
ment team has overcome challenging
financial conditions to achieve a
significant transition at RadioShack
— one that has included building
our financial and operational strength,
and reenergizing our brand. As a result,
we entered 2011 as a well-capitalized
organization with a vast store network,
momentum in mobility products, a
contemporary product assortment,
and a relevant and exciting brand. We
have clear strategies in place to drive
continued growth, backed by excellent
relationships with leading vendors, a
highly experienced management team
and a dedicated employee base.
As we forge ahead, we recognize that
we have more work to do, but we also
know that our future holds significant
opportunities, especially in the
high-growth mobility sector.
In the coming year, we plan to make
operational improvements that further
enhance our mobility, innovation and
service offerings. We will also continue
to collaborate with our valued vendor
partners, and take steps to maximize
our relationship with Target. In all of our
product platforms, we will focus on
increasing profitability by strategically
allocating our resources to key revenue
drivers that can fuel our progress
— including compelling products
like tablets and carefully planned
merchandise assortments that resonate
with today’s consumers. Finally, we will
continue to contemporize our brand
image and drive customer traffic by
building awareness of The Shack.
As we pursue these initiatives, we remain
committed to creating meaningful
benefits for all of our stakeholders
— including exceptional solutions for our
customers, growth opportunities for our
vendors and employees, and increasing
value for our shareholders.

The Shack and LIVESTRONG advance the cause
The Shack is a proud supporter of LIVESTRONG, which inspires and empowers the estimated 28 million
people globally who are living with cancer. In 2010, we aggressively supported LIVESTRONG, making
direct donations, encouraging customer contributions and marketing exclusive LIVESTRONG-branded
products in our stores and via our website. Through these efforts,
RadioShack and its customers and suppliers donated $4.2 million
to LIVESTRONG in 2010, bringing our cumulative contributions
to the global fight against cancer to more than $6 million.
