Medicare, helped people navigate the
Affordable Care Act, supported caregivers
through our Caregiving Resource Cen-
ter and helped make communities more
livable. We empowered our members to
give back and serve others through efforts
like Drive to End Hunger and AARP
Experience Corps.® And we helped people
to adapt and thrive in the “age of possibili-
ties” through Life Reimagined. This report
details these efforts and many more.
Just as AARP was there more than 50
years ago helping to create a new age
called “retirement, we are here today
helping society and individuals create and
adapt to this new “age of possibilities, en-
hancing the quality of life for all and help-
ing people fulfill their goals and dreams.
In 2013, we made great strides in fighting
for and equipping individuals to live their
best lives.
Our job at AARP is to help people see the
real possibilities that lie ahead.
