CARS WITH A CAUSE,
AND OTHER BENEFITS
The new AARP Auto Buying Program
offered guaranteed savings and fewer
hassles in purchasing vehicles. Call it
“cars with a cause,” since a portion of
the proceeds received by AARP from the
program went to the AARP Foundation to
benefit Drive to End Hunger. Other new
benefits included money-saving dining,
entertainment, travel and retail offerings.
NEW BOOKS
The 10 titles published by AARP Books
in 2013 were jam-packed with informa-
tion tailored to the needs and interests of
people 50-plus.
