be offered at both of AARP’s Life@50+
events and on a pilot basis in a several
states.
TRAVEL
Travel is the activity that people 50-
plus say they look forward to most—for
discovery, personal growth or gathering
with family and friends. New discounts
made it even more affordable for mem-
bers to enjoy lodging, rental cars and va-
cations by rail. Articles in AARP’s media
outlets and insider tips from AARP Travel
Ambassador Samantha Brown provided
inspiration and guidance.
Behind the scenes, AARP developed
a new online travel experience to trans-
form the way travelers 50-plus plan and
experience their trips. When launched in
2014, this offering will make it even easi-
er for people to dream about travel, then
plan, enjoy and share memories of trips.
