coach Richard Leider and Fast Company
co-founder Alan Webber explored ways
people can envision new goals and pur-
sue passions at any age.
Lively celebrity-led discussions during
both of AARP’s 2013 Life@50+ events
engaged thousands of members in explor-
ing their own “life reimagined” goals. Peo-
ple also experienced Life Reimagined at a
host of big events, from state fairs to the
Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.
Pilot programs in Arizona, California
and South Carolina matched trained
volunteer leaders with small groups
of people for personal reflection and
goal-setting. Feedback was positive. One
California participant said, “I feel rejuve-
nated and like we are not alone dealing
with so many issues in life.
