clients. This “Spread Some Good” effort
raised more than $14,000 from caring
customers.
Other efforts to attack hunger included
helping tens of thousands of individuals
age 50-plus apply for the Supplemental
Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly
known as food stamps).
The energy behind leaving hunger in
the dust was fostered in 2010, when Drive
to End Hunger became NASCAR’s first
cause-based primary sponsorship with
four-time NASCAR Cup Series champi-
on Jeff Gordon driving the No. 24 Drive
to End Hunger Chevrolet for Hendrick
Motorsports.

rience Corps changed the lives of 27,000
children in kindergarten through third
