More Access, More Convenience
With CVS Caremark’s network of retail pharmacies
as well as our mail order pharmacies, specialty
pharmacies, and MinuteClinics, we’re bringing
a new level of convenience to pharmacy health
care. For example, some people love to get their
90-day maintenance prescriptions by mail;
others would prefer to visit their local pharmacy
if they had the choice. With offerings such as
Maintenance Choice™ and Specialty Pickup at
CVS/pharmacy, CVS Caremark plan participants
get to choose the way that works best for them.
Since well over 65 percent of plan participants
live within fi ve miles of one of our retail locations,
that also gives us a powerful competitive advan-
tage. Additionally, more than 500 in-store
MinuteClinics across 25 states make it a snap to
get treatment for common ailments, obtain health
screenings, or receive vaccinations. Convenience
has long been part of the CVS/pharmacy shop-
ping experience. More than 70 percent of our
stores are either open round-the-clock or offer
extended hours, and over 60 percent have
drive-thru windows.
