Four intertwined rings: The symbol of the merger
between the four Saxon car companies Audi, DKW,
Horch and Wanderer, which came together to form
Auto Union AG in 1932. To this day, the four rings re-
main the symbol of AUDI AG, and embody the past,
present and future.
2007 marked the 75th anniversary of the union: Vari-
ous events were held to mark the anniversary. Special
exhibitions in Zwickau, Chemnitz and Ingolstadt chart-
ed the company’s history. Audi lined up at the start of
vintage car events such as the Mille Miglia, the Donau
Classic and the Chronoswiss Classics, with a large
number of historic cars made by Audi, DKW, Horch
and Wanderer.

attended the celebration,
which was held in the

Olympic Park. The
evening’s highlights
included the new Audi
