BUSINESS UNITS AND MARKET POSITIONS
Network for time-critical shipments spans the globe
e  division transports time-sensitive documents and goods reliably
from door to door via  xed routes and using standardised work ows. Our network
spans more than  countries and territories in which more than , employees
serve over eight million customers.
In , we continued expanding our reach for Time De nite shipments. In Asia
alone, we now o er our pre-. noon delivery service for an additional , trade
lanes.
As a global network operator, we are well aware that the quality of our services and
the satisfaction of our customers are crucial in determining our success.  is is why we
are constantly working to optimise our service.
Standardised time-critical products
Our three product lines,  Time De nite,  Same Day and  Day De nite,
o er customers courier and express services in each of the three standard time seg-
ments. Special express business services such as customs brokerage, medical services and
repair and return complement our portfolio.
Normally, our customers make use of our customer service numbers or the in-
ternet when ordering transport services. In Germany, we leverage the around ,
Deutsche Post retail outlets and Salespoints. We also maintain more than ,
Service points outside of Germany, where customers can drop o and pick up ship-
ments as needed and have them packed at no extra charge.  e prices are standardised
by weight class.
At a time when the environmental impact of globalisation is generally a live issue
and even more so in the logistics sector, we were the  rst express service provider to
o er GoGreen climate-neutral shipping products in approximately  countries.
Our aircraft fl eet – economical and ecological
Cargo carrier AeroLogic went into operation in the summer of .  is joint
venture between  Express and Lu hansa Cargo is headquartered at Leipzig / Halle
Airport.  e eet currently consists of seven new Boeing aircra : four   s and three
 s. We plan to add another  aircra by : eight   s and three   s.  ese
