capacity as Chairman of National Grid USA.
• Provides a sounding board for the Group Chairman and CEO on US people, policy and strategic issues.
• Provides insi

• Serves on key Board committees at the invitation and discretion of the Board.
• Collaborates with the Executive Directors of the Board (who have US business lines of responsibility) on strate

and provides assistance to them to build relationships etc. to advance National Grid’s US interests.
• Takes on an

Chairman or CEO.

• Partners with the CEO to lead US growth strategy.
