as adopted by the European Union and IFRS as issued by the International Accounting Standards Board. We did not
publish financial data in accordance with IFRS in 2004, because at the time our financial statements were required to
be presented in conformity with UK Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. For this reason, we have not
provided selected financial data for 2004.
