“Interest Amount” means:

“Interest Payment Date” means the date or dates specified as such in, or determined in accordance with
the provisions of, the relevant Final Terms and, if a Business Day Convention is specified in the relevant
Final Terms, as the same may be adjusted in accordance with the relevant Business Day Convention.
“Interest Period” means the period be

“Rate of Interest” means the rate of interest payable from time to time in respect of this Instrument and that
is either specified, or calculated in accordance with the provisions, in the relevant Final Terms.
“Redemption Amount” means, as appropriate, the Final Redemption Amount, the Early Redemption
Amount (Tax), the Optional Redemption Amount (Call), the

(i) in respect of an Interest Accrual Period, the amount of interest payable per Calculation Amount for
that Interest Accrual Period and which, in the case of Fixed Rate Instruments, and unless otherwise
specified hereon, shall mean the Fixed Coupon Amount or Broken Amount specified hereon as bein

payable on the Interest Payment Date endin

the Interest Period of which such Interest Accrual
Period forms part; and
(ii) in respect of any other period, the amount of interest payable per Calculation Amount for that period.
