Ubisoft has brought together some of the industry’s best
specialists so that it can continue to surprise gamers and
exceed their expectations. It’s no surprise to see that three
Ubisoft employees made it into
Edge’s
“The Hot 100 Game
Developers in 2009”.
IGN
, another industry reference,
includes two other Ubisoft employees in its ranking of
“The Top 100 Game Creators of all time”. The innovative
quality of our proprietary technologies is what won Ubisoft
35th spot (second video game company after Nintendo) in
Fast Company’s 2008 Top 50 ranking of the World’s Most
Innovative Companies.
Developing essential expertise
The unique
savoir-faire
of Ubisoft teams is crucial to the
successful creation and distribution of our games. Whether
we’re talking about Level Designers, who build the different
difculty levels in a game and imagine all possible camera
angles, Programmers, who develop the engines that bring all
of our different games to life (action/adventure, rst-person
shooters, sports etc.) or Marketing specialists, who know
the consumer like the back of their hands – all of our team
members strive to be the best in their domain.
With ve acquisitions and 1,400 recruitments made over the
last year, our teams have benetted from many new proles
and skills. The integration of Hybride Technologies, creator of
special effects for some of the biggest Hollywood productions,
or Massive Entertainment, a hands-down reference for
strategy games, has enabled the group to remain at the
forefront of the entertainment sector this year.
