1.4.2.2.2 Helping young people find employment
Ubisoft has an active policy of supporting young people during their initial training or as a complement
to this. The number of interns taken on each year is on the increase. During the year under review,
619 interns completed an enriching and empowering professional experience at a Ubisoft company,
compared with 481 during the previous year. These internships are truly educational and act as a
springboard for joining the Group. 25% of interns were offered a job. Ubisoft is one of the 23 winners
out of the 75 companies that took part in StageAdvisor in France, a label launched by Job Teaser,
which gives interns the opportunity to speak out about their host company.
Particular attention is paid to recruiting young talent as they represent the next in line at the Company
against a backdrop of strong growth. In order to meet the requirements of their profession, teams need
to be connected and close to the consumer. Ubisoft provides them with a career path with a high level
of input and genuine learning opportunities.
Ubisoft will launch its Graduate Program during the current financial year. Designed to identify high-
potential candidates around the world, the Graduate Program enables young graduates to accelerate
the start of their career in the video game industry. This two-year program, which will be launched for
the first time in 2014, aims to offer a unique and enriching experience to future producers and
programmers.
