1.4.2.2 DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
The diverse range of professional profiles at Ubisoft is inherent to the creativity and innovation the
Company needs to stay at the forefront of innovation and technology. The process of creating a video
game requires the collaboration of teams with very different backgrounds and training to produce the
best game possible. Cultural diversity, gender mix and age diversity are a source of creativity and help
teams to improve their understanding of consumers’ expectations and to respond to consumers’ needs
throughout the world.
Action is therefore taken to contribute to the diversity of teams. One example is our American
subsidiaries: the Red Storm studio in North Carolina uses policies and awareness training in the fight
against discrimination, while the San Francisco site has created a diversity committee, which makes
recommendations to promote diversity and help create an open working environment.
