Looking ahead, the two key planks to drive our long term growth will be retention and relevance.
Retention – In doing an ever-better job in helping our members achieve even greater weight
loss success, our business will benefi t both from improved retention and increased referrals.
RelevanceWe believe that Weight Watchers should be the solution for everyone in-
terested in sustained weight loss and a healthy lifestyle. To achieve this, we will drive our
product develoment efforts to ensure that we have a relevant solution for everyone who is
committed to making these lifestyle changes. We must then effectively further build our
brand equity and communicate our offerings in our marketing programs.
We have never been in a better position to capitalize on these opportunities. We are blessed to
have an outstanding group of employees and service providers who are both passionate about
the mission of Weight Watchers and are highly competent in their areas of specialty. With our
team, there is no limit to what we can accomplish for our members. In doing this, we can de-
liver outstanding value to our shareholders.
I would like to thank all of our members, service providers, employees, directors, and share-
holders for their dedication and support during the past year. I look forward to reporting to all
of you in the year ahead on our efforts to further capitalize on our position as the world’s most
recognized and trusted brand in weight management.
