The Company’s Common Stock is traded on the National Market tier of The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc.
(“Nasdaq”), under the symbol “SBUX”. The following table sets forth the quarterly high and low
closing sale prices per share of the Common Stock as reported by Nasdaq for each quarter during the last
two fiscal years. All prices shown reflect the two-for-one stock split effected March 19, 1999.
