The POWER of Giving Back
T DOLLAR TREE, WE ARE FORTUNATE to
have the opportunity to make a dierence in
the lives of people all across the country. First
and foremost, we help customers from coast
to coast stretch their household budgets by being able
to shop at our stores located across 48 U.S. states and
ve Canadian provinces. In addition, our social impact
reaches further through a variety of programs and
practices that include philanthropic eorts, our impact
on local economic development, our employee culture
and the Company’s expectations of business partners.
By continuing to grow our store base annually at
approximately 7%, we are supporting our local communities
through job creation and by helping our customers manage
their household budgets through the great values we oer.
Our plans for 2015 include opening 400 additional stores.
The Company’s corporate giving program benets
people on a national level as well. We are very proud
to be a National Sponsor for Operation Homefront,
a nonprot organization that provides emergency
assistance and provides morale-building emergency
assistance to the nations troops, to the families they
leave behind and to the wounded warriors when they
return home.
Since 2007, Dollar Tree customers have donated tens
of millions of toys and other items to the families of U.S.
Armed Forces personnel through Operation Homefront.
These items are collected at our stores and distributed by
Operation Homefront at U.S. military bases nationwide.
This process takes place throughout the year with
holiday toy drives, back-to-school supply collections and
emergency need collections.

LIVES OF PEOPLE ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
