In addition to the available-for-sale investment securities listed above, we have an investment in the stock of the Federal Home Loan
Bank (“FHLB”). The stock is recorded in Other assets at cost, which approximates fair value. The balance of FHLB stock was $56.5
million at December 31, 2001 and $83.3 million at September30, 2000.
