MONEY MANAGEMENT TIPS
Middle-income Americans over age
50 who carry credit card balances
are burdened by higher levels of
debt than younger cardholders,
according to AARP research. One-
third of 50+ card users rely on credit
to pay basic living expenses such
as rent, home mortgages, groceries
and utilities.
People seeking to manage their
money more wisely turned to AARP
for tips.
In a video series for AARP, “The
Money Coach®” Lynnette Khalfani-
Cox shared ideas for paying off debt
and building back financial security.
