Founded in 1877 as the 12th National Bank of Kanazawa,
Hokuriku Bank is one of Japan’s largest regional
banks. Employees at Hokuriku Bank are trained to
build relationships with customers by listening intently
to consumer needs to ensure they offer customized,
consultative service and relevant products to each person,
including Aflac policies. Management and employees of
Hokuriku Bank have been extending bank-wide initiatives to
embody a philosophy they call the “shoe spirit” movement.
Shoe spirit exemplifies bank employees’ willingness to
make frequent visits to customers until their shoe treads
become worn. These frequent visits allow Hokuriku Bank
representatives the chance to remain very close to the
hearts of their customers so they can present appropriate
solutions that address any problems that may arise.
From left to right, Aki Mizuno, Miwako Nakagawa,
and Eri Aiyama are Hokuriku bank employees
who demonstrate their commitment to delivering
the Aflac promise by providing friendly, efficient
service to their customers.
