family of four colorful, afford-

digital photography to more con-
sumers.
Digital photography is also
opening up new markets for
innovative peripherals. Among
these are digital printers
designed to print photos with-
out a computer, like our SCX-
1000S three-in-one color inkjet
printer, scanner, and copier that
prints out thumbnails as well as
full-size prints directly from
SmartMedia cards.
The key enabling technology
behind each of these personal
multimedia products is
Smart-
Media flash memory cards. Avail-
able in capacities of up to 64MB
in a convenient package just one-
third the size of a credit card,
SmartMedia is fast becoming a
ubiquitous storage medium for
MP3 players, digital cameras,
and a host of other devices, mak-
ing it easier than ever to trans-
port, transfer, or share digital
music, images, and data.
