Changes in Board of Management
On  March , the Supervisory Board appointed John Gilbert as Board Member
responsible for the Supply Chain division. He succeeded Bruce Edwards, who stepped
down from the Board of Management on  March  but continued to act in an
advisory capacity for the company until his retirement on  September .
Angela Titzrath resigned from the Board of Management on  July . On  Oc-
tober , Melanie Kreis was appointed as Board Member for Human Resources and
asLabour Director. In the interim period, Chief Executive Ocer Dr Frank Appel
assumed the corresponding responsibilities in a dual role.
Organisation in the board departments for Post - eCommerce - Parcel
and Human Resources adjusted
At the beginning of , parts of the domestic parcel business outside Germany were
consolidated in the Mail division, which was renamed Post - eCommerce - Parcel (PeP)
as part of the Group’s strategic development. is business was previously part of the
Express and Global Forwarding, Freight divisions.
e Human Resources board department was reorganised eective  October 
in line with Strategy . It now comprises the following corporate departments:
Corporate  Germany, Corporate  Standards & Programs and Corporate 
Inter national. e divisional  functions and the  Finance, ,  and  func-
tion continue to report to the Board member for Human Resources. e Corporate
Executives corporate department was assigned to the board department of the Chief
Executive Ocer.
