Barcoding: a new service
The latest in tracking-and-tracing technology provides infor-
mation regarding the delivery of registered and COD letters. For tracking
and tracing, letters must have a barcode label that can then be scanned
into a data processing system upon posting. The barcode is scanned
once again upon delivery and the letters status reported to a central
computer. Customers can find out at call centers when the letter they
posted was delivered.
Services bring positive response from business
customers
Our “PostIdentserviceis the latest example of how serious we
are about providing good service. Deutsche Post offers a special service
to banks and other financial service providers that do not operate a
