The Board of Management’s Report on Relations with
Affiliated Companies (“Dependency Report”), closing
statement
The Board of Management closed the above report with the
following statement:
None of the transactions entered into in 1997 and described in this report
were prejudicial to the Company’s interests. In each transaction the
Company received fair and reasonable consideration. No transactions
were entered into with third parties at the request of the Federal Govern-
ment or in the interests of the Federal Government or its affiliated
companies. Deutsche Post AG neither took, nor omitted to take, any
measures in 1997 at the request or in the interests of the Federal Govern-
ment or its affiliated companies.
