Cash America has, throughout our history, consistently
zeroed in on new ways to make short-term credit manageable
for our customers. We know that our customers are looking
for more than alternative financial options – they’re also
looking for a friendly face, someone who knows them and
who can guide them through a process that, with traditional
lending institutions, is becoming more impersonal and
automated than ever before. This spotlight on customers has
been the basis of our success from the beginning.
Having the right employees in place with a passionate
focus on taking care of customers makes it easy to ensure that
we’re constantly thinking about how we can better provide
financial options. Current data indicate that an estimated
60 million Americans are underserved by banks, and those
numbers continue to rise in current economic conditions.
Traditional lending institutions have all but ignored many of
our customers, leaving them with limited options and higher
prices for bank products. The foreseeable future indicates that
the number of underserved will continue to grow and Cash
America will work hard to meet their needs.
Our small, short-term loans provide lower-cost
alternatives to increasingly high bank fees, insufficient fund
charges, late fees on credit cards and penalties on delinquent
accounts from utility companies or mortgage lenders. Since
our customers have come to rely on us as a neighborhood
financial resource, we’re focused on giving them appropriate
financial tools and friendly service, no matter their situations.
Our loans range from a few weeks to a few months, giving
customers the ability to tailor financial solutions that are right
for them.
