At age 16, Will
Spetter’s life in
El Cajon, CA,
centers around school,
sports, and hanging out
with friends. Navy
Federal’s Campus
Checking suits him just
fine. “I’m never in a
branch and rarely write
a check,” he said. “I
manage my accounts
with Navy Federal Online®
Account Access.” He
likes that he’s able to
rely on ATMs and his
Visa®Check Card to keep
him in cash or pay for
gas purchases that keep
his truck running.
“Once I get enough
saved,” he said, “I’ll
probably buy a new
lacrosse stick.” Lacrosse
is Will’s sport of choice.
He likes it better than
football because there’s
more speed and you’re
always doing something.
As a key offensive player
for his team, he scores
goals but also con-
tributes a lot of assists.
Will became a Navy
Federal member just
three years ago through
his mother’s eligibility.
He plans to stay with
the credit union in the
future not only out of
his reliance on Account
Access, but also for the
loans and day-to-day
accounts he’ll need
later on. “I’m not sure
where the future will
take me—engineering,
medicine, teaching,
aviation,” he said, “but
most likely I’ll be with
the Navy or Air Force.”
Will likes that Navy
Federal is not confined
to a specific location,
but rather, he said,
“all over the world for
pretty much anywhere
I may go.”
