Navy Federal Annual Report 2006 27
We honor all the men and women serv-
ing in our nations armed forces
throughout the world. Were contin-
ually mindful of those in combat, especially in the
areas of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation
Enduring Freedom. Their courage
and commitment are worthy of our respect and
gratitude, and we pay tribute to those who have
sacrificed their lives in service to their country.
It is a privilege to serve the men and women
of the Navy and Marine Corps and their fami-
lies. We continue our support to those troops
who must persevere until their work is done,
and we hope for their safe return.
