We have agreed to sell two B737 aircraft to a foreign air carrier in 2009 contemporaneous with the delivery
thereof to us. The same foreign air carrier purchased two B737s from us in 2008.
As of December 31, 2008, all of our owned aircraft were encumbered under debt agreements. For information
concerning the estimated useful lives, residual values, lease terms, operating rent expense, aircraft debt, and
firm orders for additional aircraft, see Notes 2, 3, 5 and 6 to the Consolidated Financial Statements.
