The Company is currently involved in various legal actions and proceedings that arose in the ordinary course of its business. The
Company believes that any liability arising as a result of these actions and proceedings will not have a material adverse effect on the
Company's financial position, results of operations or cash flows.

No matters were submitted to a vote of security holders of the Company during the quarter ended July 31, 2004.

The Company's Class A Common Stock and Class B Common Stock are currently traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the
symbols NMG.A and NMG.B, respectively. As of September 7, 2004, there were 9,486 record holders of the Company's Class A
Common Stock and 3,305 record holders of the Company's Class B Common Stock. In the second quarter of 2004, the Company's
Board of Directors initiated a quarterly cash dividend of $0.13 per share. The Company declared dividends on January 30, 2004,
April 30, 2004 and July 30, 2004 aggregating $18.9 million.
