5.1 The performance certification requirements for the A318 Aircraft, except where otherwise noted, will be as stated in Section **
5.2 For the determination of FAR take-off performance a hard dry level runway surface with no runway strength limitations, no obstacles, zero wind,
atmosphere according to **, except as otherwise noted, and the use of speed brakes, flaps, landing gear and engines in the conditions liable to provide
the best results **.

6.1 Compliance with the Guarantees will be demonstrated using operating procedures and limitations in accordance with those defined by the certifying
airworthiness authority and by the Seller unless otherwise stated.
6.2 Compliance with the take-off, second segment, approach climb, en-route one engine inoperative climb, landing and external noise elements of the
Guarantees will be demonstrated with reference to the approved flight manual.
