1. Sales composition for each segment includes
intersegment transactions.
2. The Company restructured its Group organization on
January 1, 2012, resulting in the number of
reportable segments from six to eight. Accordingly,
segment information for fiscal 2010 and 2011 have
been reclassified to conform to the presentation for
fiscal 2012.
3. Other segment consists of Healthcare Company,
Manufacturing Solutions Company, PanaHome
Corporation and others.
4. SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. (SANYO) and its subsidiaries
became consolidated subsidiaries of Panasonic in
December 2009. The operating results of SANYO and
its subsidiaries prior to December 2009 are thus not
included in Panasonic’s consolidated financial
statements.
