we raised more than $420,000 for
diabetes research worldwide, with
fundraising initiatives at the corporate
and store levels. In fact, during 2011
Cash America received the
Communitas Award of Excellence in
Community Service for its fundraising
campaign beneting JDRF. Cash
America also won a Platinum Award
in the Hermes Creative Awards for
Corporate Social Responsibility for
the same fundraising campaign.

We are proud that being a responsible
member of every community in which
we operate can help others reach their
individual ideals of excellence.
Cash America is also committed to
making a positive impact in areas
outside of our core services. Giving back
to the communities where we live and
work is a priority for our team. We look
for opportunities to help organizations
corresponding with our ve focus areas
– education, public safety, families in
need, the U.S. military and natural
disaster relief.
Since 2006, Cash America, in
partnership with Texas Christian
University, has sponsored the
SuperFrog Reading Challenge to
promote reading in elementary
schools in Fort Worth, Texas and
we recently expanded the program
to include UNLV and Clark County
Schools in Las Vegas.
Student-athletes from TCU’s athletic
programs have partnered with more
than 30 elementary schools in the Fort
Worth Independent School District to
improve student reading skills. More
than 5,500 students compete in this
program for incentives such as tickets
to TCU athletic events and coupons to
local Cash America stores.
During the most recent Rebel
Reading Challenge in Las Vegas,
fourth- and fth-grade students at 33
Clark County School District schools

workplaces and communities.

Enova, supports Big Brothers Big Sisters
with a site-based mentoring program.
Volunteers meet with students at
Enova’s downtown Chicago ofce every
other week during the school year for
positive role modeling, academic

participate in National Night Out
events; scholarship funds; food banks;
the Komen Race for the Cure; and
welcoming military troops at Dallas/
Fort Worth International Airport.
For many years, Cash America has
remained committed to the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation. In 2011,
