energize communication with our
customers, Cash America has also
begun using social media tools like
Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to
make sure customers can quickly
nd a friendly team member to point
them toward the right information
and the right credit solutions.

We’re always looking for better ways
to help people reach their own forms of
excellence so that they aren’t paralyzed
by unexpected nancial setbacks. Our
goal is to move quickly and creatively
to rene our current products and
services, while simultaneously searching
for new opportunities in the nancial
services sector.
Our team is well aware that the
most important thing we do is meet
customers’ needs so that they can
pursue their dreams. Our commitment
to the apex of excellence in support
of this purpose helps each customer
we serve move closer toward personal
excellence.
Cash America continues to
pursue location expansion
both domestically and
internationally. During
2011, we expanded
our domestic location
footprint by 17 locations
to end the year with 784
lending locations in the
United States.
Our expansion into
Mexico with Prenda Fácil, a
190-store chain of pawnshops located
throughout 21 states in central and
southern Mexico, also continues on
the path to excellence. Though the
pawn business in Mexico historically
has been predominantly based on gold
jewelry, we have begun the conversion
of many locations to accept general
merchandise collateral. In 2011, we
completed the change of our point
of sale system to further this goal.
Prenda Fácil added 11 locations in
Mexico during 2011. This conversion
of locations,
combined with Cash
America’s approach
to quality customer
service, opens
more options for
our customer base,
increases our growth potential
and offers a competitive advantage
over jewelry-only lenders. Our focus
on human resources and training at
Prenda Fácil during 2011 reinforces
