SPECIAL NOTE ON FISCAL PERIOD DATES
On May 13, 2014, our board of directors approved a change in our fiscal year end from December 31 to
March 31. In connection with this change, this Annual Report on Form 10-K presents information regarding
LeapFrog’s performance during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2015 (our first full fiscal year since the
change, which we also refer to as ‘‘fiscal 2015’’), the three-month transition period ended March 31, 2014,
and the years ended December 31, 2013 and 2012. For purposes of comparison, we have included the
unaudited financial results for the year ended March 31, 2014 (which reflects the combined results for the
nine months from April 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013 and the three-month transition period from
January 1, 2014 through March 31, 2014). This Annual Report on Form 10-K also presents future financial
obligations for the fiscal years ending March 31, 2016 through the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.
