General
We are a global semiconductor company with facilities around the world. We provide processing solutions for the computing, graphics and consumer
electronics markets.
On October 25, 2006, we completed our acquisition of ATI pursuant to an Acquisition Agreement, dated as of July 23, 2006, by and among AMD,
1252986 Alberta ULC, and ATI, whereby ATI became our indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary. As a result of the acquisition, we began to supply 3D graphics,
video and multimedia products and chipsets for personal computers, or PCs, including desktop and notebook PCs, professional workstations and servers and
products for consumer electronic devices such as mobile phones, digital TVs and game consoles.
