toeffectivelybuildabridgetoemploymentfordisadvantaged
peopleacrosstheworld.OurnewlyexpandedCSRprogram
encompassesthedisasterrecoveryeffortsthatwehave
engagedinforyears,whicharebestillustratedbythevocational
trainingcentersthatwebuiltinIndiafollowingthe2004tsunami.
Throughourpartnershipswithgovernmentsandnon-government
organizations,wehavealsofoundopportunitiestomakeadifference
insomeofthemosturgentworldcrisesofourtime.Theseinitiatives,
whichwebeganin2006,includetheninemillion.orgcampaign
tohelpchildreninrefugeecampsworldwidetogainaccessto
education;andaseparateinitiativetoendhumantrafficking,
whichisessentiallymodern-dayslavery.
SocialresponsibilityissustainableatManpowerbecauseitis
deeplyembeddedinourculture.Itcreatesanamazingamountof
passionandenergywithinourorganization,anditisasourceof
intenseemployeeengagementthatresonatesineverycornerof
ournetworkacrosstheworld.InacompanylikeManpower,
whereweopenourdoorstonewclientsandcandidatesevery
dayanddefineourbrandonepersonatatime,ourhighlevel
ofemployeeengagementcannotbeunderstatedasakey
