The common stock of Huntington Bancshares Incorporated is traded on the NASDAQ Stock Market under
the symbol “HBAN”. The stock is listed as “HuntgBcshr” or “HuntBanc” in most newspapers. As of January 31,
2012, we had 37,109 shareholders of record.
Information regarding the high and low sale prices of our common stock and cash dividends declared on
such shares, as required by this item, is set forth in Table 51 entitled Selected Quarterly Income Statement Data
and incorporated into this Item by reference. Information regarding restrictions on dividends, as required by this
Item, is set forth in Item 1 Business-Regulatory Matters and in Note 23 of the Notes to Consolidated Financial
Statements and incorporated into this Item by reference.
Huntington did not repurchase any common shares for the year ended December 31, 2011.
The line graph below compares the yearly percentage change in cumulative total shareholder return on
Huntington common stock and the cumulative total return of the S&P 500 Index and the KBW Bank Index for
the period December 31, 2006, through December 31, 2011. The KBW Bank Index is a market capitalization-
weighted bank stock index published by Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. The index is composed of the largest banking
companies and includes all money center banks and regional banks, including Huntington. An investment of
$100 on December 31, 2006, and the reinvestment of all dividends are assumed.
