Return to Castle Wolfenstein, X2: Wolverine’s Revenge, Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts, Cabela’s Deer Hunt 2004 Season,
andinselectEuropeanmarkets,
Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
.Wealsohadstrongcatalog
salesfromanumberofourfranchises,includingSpider-Man.Catalogsalesaresalesoftitlesreleasedpriortothecurrentfiscalyear.
• Publishingconsolenetrevenuesincreasedby9%from$466.1millionfortheyearendedMarch31,2003to$508.4millionfortheyearendedMarch31,2004.As
expected,withinthemixofspecificconsoles,netrevenuesfromthesaleofsoftwareforthepriorgenerationconsolehardwaresystems,suchasPS1,continuedto
declinewhilethenetrevenuesfromthesaleofsoftwareforthecurrentgenerationofconsolehardwaresystemscontinuedtogrow.
• Netrevenueswerepositivelyimpactedfromtitlessellingathigheraverageretailpricesthroughoutfiscal2004ascomparedtofiscal2003.Asaresultofthestrong
performanceofourkeyfiscal2004releases,wewereabletomaintaintheoriginalpricepointsforthosetitlesforanextendedperiodoftime.
• Internationalnetrevenuesbenefitedfromthestrongyear-over-yearstrengtheningoftheEuro(“EUR”)andGreatBritishPound(“GBP”)inrelationtotheU.S.dollar.
Weestimatethatforeignexchangeratesincreasedreportednetrevenuesbyapproximately$52.1million.Excludingtheimpactofchangingforeigncurrencyrates,
ourinternationalnetrevenuesincreased4%year-over-year.
• Theincreaseinpublishingnetrevenueswasoffsetbyfewertitlesreleasedinfiscal2004ascomparedtofiscal2003.
