Management Report
2014
13
1.4.1.4 REPORTING PRINCIPLE
The Group’s Administration Department is responsible for steering and coordinating CSR reporting
and has drawn up a reporting protocol. This protocol:
- defines a list of quantitative and qualitative indicators and their correspondence to the GRI
framework;
- specifies the definitions of indicators so that they are uniform for the whole Group and
leave no room for interpretation;
- specifies the methods for collecting and calculating indicators;
- specifies the scope used and the reporting managers in charge of collecting data.
This protocol is used as a reference by each reporting manager, whose role is to:
- tell their local representatives or contacts what information they are required to collect;
- ensure that the information collected is available, uniform and documented;
- monitor the completeness, consistency and plausibility of data;
- ensure that the absence of data collection is justified and explained;
- consolidate the data for the scope that he is in charge of and ensure that it is consistent.
Once the data has been consolidated and the CSR reporting has been prepared by the various
reporting managers, the Administrative Department intervenes:
- by ensuring compliance with the reporting protocol;
- by examining the plausibility of data;
- by preparing the “Sustainable Development” section on the basis of the consolidated data
transmitted by the various reporting managers.
Specifications on the methods for collecting data:
As regards employee-related indicators, these are collected:
- either directly, using the Business Object reporting tool, which makes it possible to exploit
data from the human resources management software program (HRTB) used by all the
Group’s subsidiaries;
- or using an alternative reporting tool in an Excel spreadsheet, given to all local HR
departments in order to facilitate data consolidation, for employee-related information not
monitored in the HRTB.
The human resources indicators collected in this manner conform to the definitions defined jointly by
the Human Resources Department and the Administration Department and indicated in the reporting
protocol.
Data for environmental and social indicators is collected from:
- Each site, using a qualitative and quantitative questionnaire prepared in line with the
reporting protocol.
- Cross-functional departments for the collection of global data at Group level.
Consolidation and verification:
Employee-related, environmental and social data is transmitted by the Group’s entities to the various
reporting managers in charge of collecting data, who consolidate said data and ensure it is consistent.
