Growth
Clean water is a human essential. And
LG, through three pioneering divisions,
is developing the technologies and
infrastructures needed to see that
pure water continues to be available to
communities around the world.
Developing the most advanced nano technology
LG Electronics, by utilizing LG Group’s expertise in chemical, mechanical and
electronic technologies, has been at the forefront of efficient and eco-friendly
membrane development. By converging three core nano technologies—fine
patterning, resin formulation and resin mixing—we have been able to develop
unique membrane processes applicable to many different types of raw water
found around the world. And, since 1994, we have been fully compliant with global
environmental regulations such as RoHS* and Halogen Free. So that we are not just
providing cleaner water, we are also assuring a cleaner planet in the process.
Engineering better solutions for clients
LG has partnered with the Hitachi Group to create LG-Hitachi Water Solutions,
a company aimed at providing world-class solutions to businesses in need
of effective water treatment. By combining the global business, research and
technological expertise or these two great corporations, LG-Hitachi Water Solutions
is quickly becoming a leader in engineering, procurement and construction of water
treatment facilities. From the delivery of ultrapure drinking water to the purification
of industrial & municipal waste water, the company is ready to design and build
advanced water treatment plants in Korea, and around the world.
Simplifying the complex issue of water infrastructure
The operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities is a complex
undertaking. It requires up-to-the minute knowledge of both technological and
environmental issues. LG operates its HiEntech division to offer a full range of
services to the industry, from sophisticated infrastructure development through
highly-trained manpower. It is our goal that facilities are run with the same concern
for our clients’ needs, and for the safety and welfare of their customers and
communities, that is consistent with LG’s long-standing global reputation.
By working together, sharing knowledge, and staying true to our values, LG’s water
treatment divisions are committed to making one very basic and global wish come
true: that people everywhere have access to clean water every single day.
