It goes as far back as 1959. It wasn’t just that we made our home
country’s first radio; it was about the fact that we were building
something that fundamentally enriched people’s lives. We didn’t
know at the time that we were establishing the beginnings of the
electronics industry. All we knew was that an infinitely wider world was
beckoning, and that we had a role to play in opening the door to it.
