Executive Directors’ share options
No option awards were made in 2008. Options to acquire NV ordinary shares of €0.16 each and options to acquire PLC ordinary shares
of 31⁄9p each were outstanding, were exercised, lapsed or remained outstanding as shown in the following table.
From 2007 onwards no new awards have been made under this Plan as the Global Share Incentive Plan was approved by shareholders
at the 2007 AGMs. From 2007 long-term incentive awards will be made only under that new plan.
