Divestments in 2014 reflected the result on the deconsolidation of ING Vysya Bank following changes to the governance structure.
Special items in 2014 included the impact (after tax) of the charges for making the Dutch Defined Benefit pension fund financially
independent, the bank tax related to the SNS Reaal nationalisation and additional charges related to the restructuring programmes in
Retail Netherlands announced before 2013.
