Includes both AIRB and SA portfolios; excludes equities, CVA RWA and ONCOA.
The Institutions portfolio decreased by EUR 6.0 billion and consequently declined RWA by EUR 5.1 billion. The RWA reduction was
mainly the result of a released internal guarantee for the funding of NN Bank, the reduced exposure and risk weight of the Default
Fund Contribution to Central Clearing Parties and decreased exposure to Greece and Russian banks. The Bond Investments portfolio
declined as a result of maturing Cedula investments. The appreciation of the US Dollar against the Euro resulted in an increase in READ
and RWA of respectively EUR 3.9 billion and EUR 1.2 billion. The increase in the 'more than 60%' LGD bucket was driven by increased
short-term nostro exposure.
