The following table summarises the distribution of the Group’s value added in 2006 and 2007:
• The Group value added increased by HK$6,045
million mainly due to an increase in revenue.
• Dividends paid and proposed increased by HK$6
million while the amount retained for re-investment
and future growth increased by HK$3,505 million.
