NetrevenuesfromsalesoftitlesfortheGBAfortheyearendedMarch31,2004decreased44%fromthepriorfiscalyear,from$44.1millionto$24.6million.Thisisdueto
adecreaseinthenumberofGBAgamesreleasedyear-over-year.Infiscal2003,wereleased11GBAtitles,whereasinfiscal2004wereleased4GBAtitles.Weexpectthe
hand-heldinstalledbasetogrowwiththereleaseoftheNDSandPSPwhichareexpectedtolaunchinlatecalendaryear2004andearlycalendaryear2005,respectively.
Asignificantportionofourrevenuesandprofitsarederivedfromarelativelysmallnumberofpopulartitlesandbrandseachyearasrevenuesandprofitsaresignificantly
affectedbyourabilitytoreleasehighlysuccessfulor“hit”titles.Forexample,fortheyearendedMarch31,2004,28%ofourconsolidatednetrevenuesand40%of
worldwidepublishingnetrevenueswerederivedfromnetrevenuesfromour
Tony Hawk’s Underground
and
True Crime: Streets of L.A.
titles.Thoughmanyofthesetitleshavesubstantial
productionoracquisitioncostsandmarketingbudgets,onceatitlerecoupsthesecosts,incrementalnetrevenuesdirectlyandpositivelyimpactoperatingprofitsresulting
inadisproportionateamountofoperatingincomebeingderivedfromtheseselecttitles.

DistributionnetrevenuesfortheyearendedMarch31,2004increased14%fromthepriorfiscalyear,from$248.1millionto$281.9million.Theincreasewasprimarilydueto
thepositiveimpactoftheyear-over-yearstrengtheningoftheEURandtheGBPinrelationtotheU.S.dollar.Excludingtheimpactofthechangingforeigncurrencyrates,
ourdistributionnetrevenueswasinlinewithourpriorfiscalyear,withaslightincreaseof2%year-over-year.Themixofdistributionnetrevenuesbetweenhardwareand
softwaresalesvariedyear-over-yearwithapproximately28%hardwareintheyearendedMarch31,2004ascomparedto38%hardwareinthepriorfiscalyear.Thisis
mainlyattributedtoanincreaseinbusinesswithlarge,mass-marketcustomersthatgenerateahigherpercentageofsalesfromsoftware.Inbothfiscalyears,hardware
saleswereprincipallycomprisedofsalesofconsolehardware.

• DuetothelowermanufacturingcostsforPCtitles,wewereabletobenefitfromthestrongsalesof
